Shore pine is one of my favorite native pines. They back bud well, the needles grow naturally very short, they are very flexible and bark up almost as well as a black pine.
This tree is in a 4" pot and has had root work to help set up a great root system and establish a nebari.
We wired it into what I like to call a calligraphy style. It will make a fantastic small bunjin.
