The scissors from China are the smallest (6.5") the Kaneshin are 7" and the Okatsune are the largest at 8.75"
Kaneshin tools are made in Japan with the highest tool steel and precision. These are tools that are sharp out of the box and will last a lifetime, if taken care of well. I think these tools represent the the best value for the price if you are looking for bonsai tools from Japan.
Okatsune makes mostly garden pruners, but they make 2 scissors that are delight to use. They are heavy duty and are able to cut through almost anything you throw at it. They are made in Japan
I finally found a line of stainless steel tools made in China that stand up to the rigors of my work here at the farm. They use high quality steel, are super sharp and are very well made. They really have a nice fit and finish, in addition to functioning well.
